Dare to be a Daniel
Daniel was wise and courageous man (Daniel 1:17) Daniel offered us an example of a godly man who lived obediently and courageously for God while earning the admiration and respect of non-believers.
Daniel did not compromise and conform to his environment. He served God will all his heart (Daniel 1:8). Daniel was determined not to defile himself even though he had the opportunity to because he was in captivity in Babylon.
Daniel had strong work ethics and he was humble (Daniel 6:3; Daniel 2:26-28). Daniel showed us how he was able to go through the captivity period in lifetime and never complained.
Daniel knew his identity (Daniel 1:7). Even though they change his name, Daniel still knew who he was as a child of God. He did not let his circumstances change his identity; therefore he was able to fulfill his purpose.
Daniel was an intercessor (Daniel 9:2-3). Daniel prayed without ceasing. God great and mighty things to Daniel.
Today, it is not easy being a follower of Christ especially in today’s culture which is hostile to the values and biblical principles that guide as children of God. God wants our lives to the example of uncompromised faith, boldness to do God’s will with humility knowing who are we as children of the great and mighty God. Will you dare to be a Daniel?
Praying daily for you all that God will show Himself strong on your behalf. Love you all and have week filled testimonies of God’s divine favor.
