The Life of Gideon
1. The Israelites were in a loop, from slavery- crying to God for help- getting help and falling back into sin.
Believers shouldn't be found in such a loop, instead we should build a place of communion with God.
Our place of communion is where we get instructions.
2. In Judges 6 and 7 God called Gideon to be used as a vessel to save the Israelites.
He had valid complains and excuses (the least of the clans in Israel).
God met him where he was, gave him a chance to build self-esteem and self-confidence.
Eventually the Victory belongs to God. God taught him in the process total dependence on him (32,000 solders to 300).
3. Let us tear down whatever represents Baal (sin, fear, self-confidence without God) and build the right altars in our action
Building things of noble character, good report, praiseworthy.
Praying for you all. Have a week filled with great blessings and awesome testimonies!
